'Iran-Egypt growing ties irritate Israel'

Iran's Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi has met with Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi in the Egyptian capital of Cairo and discussed mutual ties and the crisis in Syria.

Salehi expressed Iran's readiness to provide the experience it has gained since the victory of the Islamic Revolution to the Egyptian nation, adding Tehran and Cairo "can complement each other."

In yet another development of the bilateral relations between the two countries, Islamic Republic of Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is scheduled to visit Egypt in early February upon the invitation of his Egyptian counterpart.
