Looking for a great and affordable way to celebrate St. Patrick?s Day? Capital City Brewing has you covered with great day of traditional Irish food and drink. On Saturday, March 17, Capitol City will feature new seasonal brews. ?Both Capitol City locations will unveil two one-of-a-kind casks of original seasonal brews: Irish Red Ale and the Irish Dry Stout. From an email:
The Irish Red Ale is a lightly hopped and easy to drink, unfiltered red ale containing caramel malts with the first sip and a hint of chocolate malt in the aftertaste.
The Irish Dry Stout (4.5% abv) is a dark ale with a slightly bitter taste. Made with roasted and flaked barley, this version of an Irish classic is a medium to light bodied brew perfect for St. Patrick?s Day.
Cap City?s downtown DC location (1100 New York Avenue NW) will serve traditional Irish fare specials featuring corned beef and cabbage and shepherd?s pie and $4 Irish red ale and Irish dry stout pints all day long.
The Village at Shirlington location (2700 South Quincy Street, Arlington) will have an all-you-can-eat Irish food buffet for only $20 per person, which includes two drink tickets for any of the newly brewed Irish specialty beers. Additional pints may be purchased for just $4 each.
